Autumn at Stainforth Foss

This scene is the Foss at Stainforth in Yorkshire. The river flows down three short waterfalls not far from the village and has large flat areas of rock on it's shore. I sketched this view en plein air and enjoyed some lunch in the sunshine. It did get a little chilly as it was November so I took a photo to paint the landscape afterwards.

Original painting is approx 10"x8" and can be mounted or unmounted.
