Blea Tarn House & Side Peak ~ Original Watercolour Painting

I stayed in this charming Bed & Breakfast near Blea Tarn in the Lake District in 2025. Sketching by the tarn at 7am on a clear and still July morning was one of my favourite times that year.

The rocky outcrop is Side Peak which I made a little more purple than in real life. This was painted from a photo in one of my watercolour landscape classes.
