Hay Bales in Wylam Field ~ Original Painting

Whilst on a circular walk round Wylam in Northumberland with my son, I took a photo of this hay field under a spectacular sky. I chose this image to teach in a landscape class where the students paint along with me.

I wanted to experiment a little with this one, going really loose...wet in wet and just seeing where the paint took me. I really love the freshness and the light is evocative of the summer field.

Original painting is 10x8 unmounted on Bockingford CP Not paper 300gsm
